OK, I'll start it off. One photo from Korea taken by an old friend who died too young and the rest at the Maryland & Pennsylvania when it operated a tourist train in 1966:

The child in the last photo is my son, who is now 42!

Howdy all!!

Here are some pics from a recent work trip to Alpine, Tx. Which is not very far from either  El Paso, or the Mexican border.LOL

The first pic is from Rankin, Tx,, There is a railroad that goes through there called the Texas Pacifico. Looks like leased or bought out right motive power. I like it, cause they use ex CNW units.

Here is a pic of the same train in Alpine, TX. You can see the old depot, which is visable from the duplex we stay at. Damn telephone pole!!!!! This is the same train in the first pic. Took 3 days to get from Rankin to Alpine.

While working in the town of Alpine, we are building a drive-thru teller facility for a bank. The track is right behind the drive thru. Great spot,, work, then hear horn, run get the camera, take pic, back to work.LOL

Lookie what I saw, I have no clue what it is.LOL  Is it a 44-9W??? You can see some of the west Texas mountains in the backround.

This is same track that runs behind the drive thru  just a little further south. Alpine also serves a crew change point. This was taken around 7:45 pm. Just before we got off work.

Here is the same train stopped. I was trying to get the town name also. This is a amtrak stop. I do not know what train that would be. I am a freight man, not passenger.

The following pics were taken on a sunday morning, we were finishing some little projects. These two trains came by. I wish I tripod to get a more stable shoting platform.

  Adios for now, Wyatt
