Does anyone..... ( @Ed Kapuscinski) have an example of a printed Conrail Track List, and/or Train List they can show..?

I'm curious what format they used, and how close I could replicate it in JMRI..

Good man.

The other thing you want is Zits maps (ZTS). It’s funny, I was just talking about these with my dad.

Here’s what you need to know: https://conrail1285.com/conrails-zts-maps/

Reading more though the Conrail TABS Training Manual (TABS=Transportation and Billing System)... I think I'm going to use the Train Consist format as a guide on how to format the data.
https://www.multimodalways.org/docs/railroads/companies/CR/CR%20Accounting/CR%20TABS%20Course.pdf

This is all based on the IBM Punch Card system, and I'm guessing things changed somewhat when they moved from Punch Cards to (I assume) an AS400 based system.

Anyways Here is a sample line..
9UP  115657LB    29FERTZKENDALLVIINKENGARSUP

Although I'd Simplify it a bit..
This should make a bit more sense.
UP  115657 L B    29 FERTZ KENDALLVIIN KENGARSUP

Here is what the data means..
UP  115657 - Initial Number
L B    29 FERTZ L/E Status - Car Kind - Net Tons - Commodity
KENDALLVIIN - Destination City / State
KENGARSUP - Consignee

I haven't checked this against the capabilities of JMRI, so we'll see.... At least it gives me an idea of how the data should be formatted.

ZTS Maps..

Thanks @Ed Kapuscinski
I've got a few different PDFs of the territory and I think I have a physical copy too..

Fun fact.. When we renumbered tracks at IANR, I based the new system on Conrail's ZTS numbering.
... (Then it all changed again a couple years later with CN.. )

ZTS brings up a good point... That should be added to the line data.

Interchange Junction/Road is another optional field that comes after Consignee if needed.
So I'm thinking that field should be Junction/Road or ZTS
