If you will be giving a presentation on N Scale in Japan, be sure to speak loudly so that we can hear you over here.

Oh wait never mind.

Brian, I'm going to look for you in Altoona and yell at you in Japanese!   :D

I'll be there flogging N scale antiquities, and displaying the Newport and Rock Falls.  Two whole tables of N Scale Hi Rail goodness!
You can fill your fancy new tote bags with el cheapo rolling stock from yesteryear!

My friend John Bailey booked two rooms in the convention hotel in anticipation of another modeler or two joining us, but they were unable to make it.  If anyone needs a spot, the room was reserved at the discount rate.  Let me know if you're still looking for lodgings, and the second room is yours.

Guys, I have some terrible news.

Due to a scheduling conflict I don't think I'm going to make it this year.

I'm really bummed about it.

That's indeed a bummer.  I am able to make it this year and have fuzzy but fond memories from a Friday night a couple of years ago.

I think we're all due for another one of them!

General notice that I'm not bringing the Hickory Valley modules this year, but I am bringing McCabe, that has the operating Nn3 logging railroad on it running independently from Ttrak power.   Both McCabe and West Hickory will be running Showcase Shays stand-alone local operation as part of the combined Ttrak module layout with Dave Ferrari.

When I get the 'transition' modules finished next year the 'ultimate plan' (dream?) is to tie in the two Hickory Valley modules with the Ttrak layout as a stand-alone branch line, connected via the Hickory Bridge, and the new Barge Yard and East Hickory modules.
