I am trying to put back the DC control .
I tried CV8 =8
No luck
I also tried cv29=48
No luck

Any idea ??

 I always use JMRI but maybe it's the decoder .
No problem programming the road number , cv2 , c 3 , cv4 .

I believe that CV8=2 is reset on TCS decoders, although some also support CV8=8.
Also, you may have to power-cycle it (take the engine off the track and put it back after a few seconds).

Back to DC? Does this decoder have that capability?

 Maybe not ...
Tought pretty much all of them had that possiblity .
I have very old decoders from Digitrax that are DC/DCC

Factory reset is cv8 = 2 on these.
Cv29 total will decide if dc analog activated.
I always interrupt the power to the decoder after selecting a reset as a matter of course but can’t recall if that is really needed on these decoders.
