Like dual-control room lighting!

But it would be possible to wire a repeater LED next to each switch, which would show the position.  I don't know whether it would be easier to do that electrically, or simply put another microswitch next to the motor, so it would be closed in one position, open in the other.  I'd probably choose the mechanical option myself.

Actually, it's not like room lighting, dual simultaneous control is NOT desirable here. Instead, a selector switch sets the system for either local OR dispatcher control before an ops session. (see previous posts). You don't want the local controls active when in dispatcher mode.
As to the LED indicators, they may be of value to the dispatcher (if) in another room. I'll deal with it if and when we get there; that is still evolving.
