Where are folks getting the yellow PowerPole connectors? I'm seeing only black and red on Amazon.

Agreed on all counts. Trying to decide if I want to go full-bore fancy like Bruce's example...it'll be easier to do before the modules are fully detailed!

Dave avoid the amazon connectors unless being shipped by a known vendor.  They sell ones that are often out of spec and are difficult to mate to each other and insert the metal spade.

I only buy from Powerworx now after getting burned by amazon connectors.  Some buy from mouser.

Be careful of what Power Pole parts you buy on Amazon.  The knock-off competitor versions have some issues.  And, Amazon is famous for switching suppliers so that what you see isn't necessarily what you get.

Note that the eBay listing includes the crimp-on connectors as well as the colored housings, but they are for larger wire than the Kato track feeder wires.
There are 3 versions of the crimp-on connectors to accommodate different wire diameters. If you want to use one Power Pole connector for a single 24 AWG wire, such as coming off a connection to one rail on a UniTrack section, you will need the smallest connector insert.  https://powerwerx.com/anderson-1332-powerpole-contact-pp15  To get a tight crimp on 24 AWG wire, I suggest folding the stripped wire back on itself a couple of times, because the smallest connector insert is for AWG 16 to 20 individual wires.  Bruce might have a better idea for that.

@Dave V , now that I think you understand the basics and how the things like the Powerpole busses fit into things, I have a feeling that your German roots are going to kick in and you're going to come up with a very neat and tidy system for yourself.

And as long as you've got some way to go from it to Kato connectors you'll be able to interface with bigger layouts if you ever do that.
