IIRC, I believe that you mentioned that your red/green color perception is not 100%, correct?  Maybe that is why the 6500K light doesn't seem too blue?

You are correct, but, generally, blues aren't affected.  But, how would I know, right?  That said, no one has ever made it a point to comment negatively about any of my photos, though.  At least not yet.  And, these lights came recommended by others.  In other words, I don't know.  :D

I wanted to try 6500K but couldn't find them locally. I just today bought three 48" LEDs for other areas of the basement. I wish I would have seen that amazon link about 2 hours ago. Those look great.

Fair enough - I was just curious.
I was mainly interested in opinions when viewed in-person (not photos).  Digital cameras take care of the white balance automatically (or can be set for custom white balance, so that is never a problem).
