Just to update this thread, I now have three operating F3s.  I just now hope I can sell them for the $40 I put into them.

They sure are purty! Did these come with window glass or did they expect the buyer to improvise? (it's been quite a while since I saw brass in a showcase)

No window glass in Samhongsa F units. Window glass was a rarity among early brass but became more common towards the end when Ajin/Overland was really the only game in town.

Thanks - this aligns with my vague memories - not a big deal on steamers but a challenge on some diesels.
