Looking at pix of the HO models, nope they have different wheels than the N scale trucks of the same model. However, it looks like they used the same boxes as the HO trucks! The HO models are much closer to scale -- how come they could figure out how to copy the truck smaller but not the load?? Oh, N scale, thou are persecuted.... (not to mention where's the N billboard?)

I have a kinda "love-hate" relationship with CMW.  I love the paint jobs- they have several that really help set the time period for scenes on my (pre-announcement of the coming announcement of a soon to be started) layout.  The toylike aspects, not so much. Maybe a bunch of us could get together and hire a burglar to break into the factory and pad print the logos onto our Showcase bottle trucks and @Rasputen vehicles.

I kind of agree. I have some vehicles from them but probably no more.

On the bottle truck above and on many of the newer releases, the cab seems to have Gabriel Hi-Jackers on the front - look at the ridiculous gap between the wheel and the fender. The first releases of their bus were like this - looked kind of like an off road bus.  :P

LOL. I just figured the axle was loose.  I haven't bought a box truck in a long time- not enough cab options- there are only so many 1954 Ford and IH trucks you can have in one parking lot, paint schemes notwithstanding.

Especially on a 1974 railroad...  At least in my case they make good farm trucks, which last almost forever out west.
