Plus, of course, I have learned that as soon as I write "there ain't no such thing", I will find out that the paint shop in Topeka ran out of mineral brown one day, and used some old coach green to paint a couple.

Lol, often true, but I think in this case we're pretty safe "there ain't no such thing"...

It actually started in January and they have done one every month.

Jan - New Years; Weightlifter
Feb - Mardi Gras
March - St. Patrick's Day
April - Easter
May - Cinco De Mayo
June - World Ocean Day
July - National Day of the Cowboy
August-  Hawaii Day
September - Ozone Day

Wonder if the pink car will be this months, or if they will have a graffiti version of another "holiday" for October mid-month.

I sent in my recent Railbox catch to MT the other day, a friend of mine caught the other side of the car at its delivery point a few days later.

I sent them one also. I heard back that I was the second person in two weeks to propose the same car. Was a Edgar A. Poe inspired car. Pretty cool, said they may run it in the future.

Since my wife had breast cancer (3 years cancer free this year) I had to get the N Scale Railbox 'Cure Car'. Thank you Micro-Trains for this car and for donating a 10% of the proceeds of every car sold to the breast cancer fund of the American Cancer Society. You guys are the greatest.  (TWO THUMBS UP).

I got my GN autorack Saturday, and have to compliment MT.  Unlike almost every manufacturer in recent years, they got the GN Big Sky Blue right.  It doesn't match the GNRHS color sample perfectly, but then, I don't think I've ever seen a prototype car that did, either.  The color is certainly close enough to my eyes, and much better than the too-dark blue that has become common in recent years.  Maybe they can provide the formula to other manufacturers.

Thank you for asking. She has some lingering side effects from the radiation, but the most important thing is she is 3 years cancer free.
I also purchased the D&H breast cancer gondola that was offered a few years ago.
We are also hoping your wife remains cancer free. Lets hope and pray that someday cancer will be a disease of the past.
