Look like Peterbilts to me under all the custom armor. Here's a plain-cab Peterbilt of roughly the same era that belonged to a friend:

It's on the East Coast (SC?) I think. Trust me, you AREN'T driving it across the country. He tried that after buying it (still in Soledad Canyon at the time!) and made it about 5 miles up the Kingman grade on I-40 before it blew up. I was astounded it made it that far. It was running after he was done with it, but on experienced advice the new owner flatbedded it. Smart cookie.

There is a Kenworth plant near my place and I have seen big truck built for lumber site and there was a name above the grill "Pacific" and they were looking like these a lot .
