According to an April 28, 2016 post on Trevor Marshall's "Port Rowan 1:64" site, http://themodelrailwayshow.com/cn1950s/?p=7246, the C&O Historical Society acquired the exclusive rights from Bob Hundman to reproduce the entire run of Mainline Modeler magazine in digital format and it is currently available from their website - link included at the url listed above.
Cheers,
I could have sworn there was a thread about this here but I sure can't find it.
Data DVD: Mainline Modeler Complete Collection$249.99 for non-members, $199.99 for COHS members (Membership $45/yr) plus $6 shipping.
I have it. There is a variable quality on the scanning. Most is quite good and you can enlarge up to near 800% before artifacts intrude, but there are some that the scanning quality is not as good. I haven't looked at the whole thing yet, but the quality changes seem to be random, not confined to the older nor the newer issue.
It also comes on a DVD as one gigantic 4.3GB PDF portfolio file. You can export the individual years and issues ad PDF files for portability. But you need to use Adobe's Acrobat Reader DC - at least I do. On my Mac Apple's Preview can't handle the portfolio file.
