For the first few years I couldn't attend because the weekend ALWAYS fell on 'college move-in weekend', and putting three kids through over about six years kept me completely out of Bedford until the last one graduated. You'll never make everybody happy, I think that all you can do (which Mike has) is to let people know far enough in advance what the plan is.
One thing I REALLY REALLY want to suggest to everyone is be aware that the Everett Railroad will be up IN STEAM with B&H 11 next year (2-6-0), and a full excursion program. I think it would be wonderful to build this into the program or do an event out there. They have already built a brand new station in Hollidaysburg visible off the Rt. 36 bridge, and are doing a soft-opening this fall.
