I wanted to say thanks to Mike and Brian for a great weekend.  I was able to meet and talk to several RW members, which was something I had hoped to do.  Specifically Ed K. Josh S. and Cody F..  A highlight for me was seeing Josh's FD2 and G22b's.  Photos do not do them justice.  There were great vendors and modules at the show.  I picked up several freight cars (ESM LV G26, Bowser PRR SK GLa & two Walthers smooth side NA plug door boxcars which will become CR 953B's) and some steel mill related items from Ken Ray models.  Finally, I wanted to thank Bantrak for breaking out James & the troublesome trucks and Thomas, Annie & Claribelle. They, along with their engineers, Joanna and AJ, made for a great afternoon, new friends and prevented an early show exit.  Thanks.

Right now it's looking like the weekend of August 13-14 for the 2016 Weekend.  They are likely to have to move to a new venue for 2016, with one of the local schools being the most likely site.  The school system wants at least a week between the event and the first day of school, and they started school there today.

Three members from North Raleigh Model Railroad Club were in attendance this year. Took some iPhone panoramic shots from the balcony/mezzanine while charging up a dead battery (Thanks https://twitter.com/DeLuxeTrains).
Talked with Mike Phillips about bringing our layout next summer if the new venue has available space. Also BIG thank you to New Jersey Southern & Baltimore N-TRAK clubs for allowing us a few guest runs on their club layouts and making it worth the long trip from Raleigh, NC. The vendor tables were mostly stocked with N-Scale only and I grabbed many early birthday presents late Fri evening & early Sat morning - (Thanks TexNrails, Neal's N-Gauging, KenRay, Scott & Boston & Albany).

I see me way in the background of the last shot.  Thanks to Mike and Brian for making this happen.  This was my first show as a dealer, and it was fun.  Sold a lot of my stuff to make room for more  :D

we used to do a group picture at BANTRAK on Saturday at 11 . . . forgot to organize that one this year :facepalm: . . . . and then had to stay home anyway . . . .  :facepalm: :facepalm: :?
