Has FVM talked about doing other engines such as Geeps?

That makes little sense when there are three other manufacturers already producing GP units.

Like a high hood Southern GP-30.

Atlas already offers a high-hood GP30, and I'm fairly certain they've offered at least one Southern scheme on it.

I've never seen an Atlas high hood GP30 anywhere, unless it was kitbashed.

There are no high hood GP30 listed in the Past N-Scale Product page, although according to Paul all that means is nothing since 2000. Could have been done earlier.

However, there ARE high hood GP38-2's listed here for Southern  http://www.atlasrr.com/NLoco/ngp38-2.htm from 2006. Not run since then.

There are N&W high hood GP38's from 2009 here http://www.atlasrr.com/NLoco/ngp38405.htm

Those are the only high hood Geeps I see listed (other than the GP7 and GP9, naturally).

There have been GP38's, GP38-2's, SD35's and B23-7's and/or B30-7's.
All of which have been released in Southern and few in N&W.

[High Hood]

A high hood GP30 would be nice.  I sent an email to Intermountain to request a high hood SD40-2, and they seem to be doing all of their HO versions in N Scale so I'm confident we'll see an IM high hood SD40-2.  Once engine FVM could do is the standard cab SD70.  Why has nobody made one yet is beyond me!

The High Hood GP30 would not only require changes to the short hood but also the cab and the bulge above the cab.

I wrote up a HH GP30 build in the Nov-Dec 2012 NSR. It is more than just a nose job, but it is a unique engine for sure.

What makes SENSE (!) for FVM to do is the C44-9W.

Lots of roadnames - and they could FINALLY give us a correct (or close)  Norfolk Southern unit (which itself is good for 4-5 paint variations [black, black with dash stripes,  OLS,  black with solid stripe,  black with soaring logo,  primer])

[High Hood]

Yes!  A correct Dash 9 would be a hot seller, seeing how NS has over a 1,000.  I'd also like some of the standard cab Dash 9's NS run.  Multiple paint schemes, front and rear ditchlights and I might go broke!
