I love this plan.  The curved turnouts...  Are they the MIA Atlas c55 curved turnouts, or are you planning to use FastTracks?

Looks like a couple of Central Valley truss bridges could be sacrificed to build the highway overpass.  It looks a lot worse than it probably is, especially if you approach it from the standpoint of capturing the flavor, if not every rivet....

Looks like you better get a static grass applicator!

I sense an article in N scale coming on...

The plan uses the approximate geometry of the new Atlas Code 55 curved turnouts, but if Atlas doesn't deliver in time, then FastTracks could probably serve as a substitute.

I built one just right after that article came out.  The thing was easy to build and cost less than 30 bucks and works like a charm.  Send me the parts, I'll build you one.

i'll worry about static grass after i get the benchwork and track in place and trains running.
