You and Richie must have really wanted one of those pretty bad to brave chopping

the frame and carving up the shell to get the finished model.

Great end result, though.

Lee, that was a great article and I really enjoyed the background on the short line, so much so that you've renewed the South Penn under Conrail itch I get from time to time. I also liked how you used the basket grab rolling stock to either make believable models or your suggestion of experimenting with them.

Daniel, what can I say, SW1500s are essential for the line I'm modeling and your article is just what I need to get to a realistic roster. You also gave me some good ideas on, hopefully, me completing my SD60I creations. Now, if only someone would finish their SD40-2 write-up, I'd have a complete library of CR locomotive articles to bring my roster as close as possible to the prototype,
