I took the survey and when I got to the question on a possible theme to use as a fantasy car run I wanted to put mass murders of the 20th century......man I really wanted that Charle Manson car! Followed up by the Ted Bundy car then the John Wanye Gacy car and the Jeffery Dalmer car and I can't forget... The OJ Simpson did it car!! ::)

Would the Dalmer Car be a meat reefer or a Acid tank car?  :P

Does the Dalmer car come with a load of "Offal" or just regular entrails??

What is clear to me is Micro-Trains needs to re-think how they market new releases.  The marketing message here is beyond bad.

That said, if RBBB back in the day put billboards on ordinary cars to advertise the circus, this is an excellent prelude to a real circus train.  So if we assume this is in-addition-to and has some basis in reality then it's pretty cool.

I wish I knew though.  Nothing frustrates me more than the fact that the companies do all the research on these things and come up with a plan, and then seem to communicate the details somewhere between not at all and in the worst way possible.

They , RBBB , as well as other circus's had a passenger car , usually truss roded , but more modern cars were used in the later years , that was an advertising car with lithographers facilities within . That car had ads emblazon on it sides . That car was sent in advance of the circus to make and place posters at least . Not sure of the lead time , bu I would venture a week at least . MTL has no such car .

This is only one example , and pretty plain Jane compared to some .

This one is more of what I was talking about .

Here is a 1950 shot of a RBBB advertising car taken at NH Conn

Here it says they ran 2 weeks ahead of the circus . 1955 was the last of them and it was a RBBB car .
