Wyatt- have you thought about using biscuit joints in the ends of the segments to keep them aligned?

Lee and Ian,, I told her that the other day,, she did not even blink an eye.

  We live in a small house with two growing kids,, 12 year old girl and soon to be 9 year old boy.. So we need the storage room.  So I conceeded to take down the proposed extention and move it closer to one side of the garage. Trying to go for an over all width of 12' before the benchwork move,, it was 16'-6".

  Sparky,, that is what I plan on doing. Found a cheap joiner and biscuit package at Harbor Freight for 40$.

  I need to get the other helix framed up... so I can join the other benchwork to it.

  I took an honest look at how much track I would have to clean,,, so reducing by 4'-6" is a little better. I thought about using my old cd 80,,but me thinks that new track would be better.
