I actually worked on roadbed this weekend. I'm still tweaking the track plan "on the fly" as what works on paper doesn't always work out in reality.  >

It seems the more I get into it the smaller my layout gets (or so it seems).

I'm fighting to keep the mainline minimum to 15", and I will succeed!

Mark,
If you're planning to run steam, make sure you add some easements to get into those 15" turns.  My K-2 works fine where there's an easement, but on a straight transition to 15" he likes to walk over the outside rail.
