I agree it’s not their thing, but for the $$$ they are asking it might have to be?

Or maybe not? I don’t have a firm grasp on how prototypically fussy most N-scalers are.

I suspect that Kato's models are mostly purchased by not so fussy models who just want their models to reliable and run well. As far as prices go, they are out of control everywhere nowadays.

I know DCC for these end up being expensive as they are because they get installed here in the US by Kato USA employees and guys from Chicago area Hobby shops.
