Holding out hope that eventually the 1361 and the 5550 will join in all that fun!

PRR needed all that cash from the scrappers to prop up their broad but shallow dividend pool...

Even money says 5550 will be on the rails before 1361.

Nice job. I assume the SW1200RS will ride on a flexicoil equipped SW1500 chassis.

In a perfect world it would be riding on a Kato NW2 but for this one its on the LL SW1200 chassis with the MT Felxicoil frames.

I made a test 3D print using Resione K+ resin of this Z scale gon.  Suffice to say this is my new "go to" resin, there are significant improvements over the other stuff I was using.


I also worked on some WM decals, but that's a story that can wait for another day.

It's this sort of work that's driving me towards Z.

It's too modern for me, but you could print that gon in N scale and it would be as good as the available models I've seen.

They seem to work fine for me, afik the SW1500s from MT are clones of the LL/Walthers SW1200 so parts should swap between the two. That being said im not a huge fan of how they look... too much on my plate as is to redesign all the trucks haha.

MTL chassis are the Walthers era LL chassis.  MTL did not make their own for this project. They had a long standing arrangement with LL for trainset locomotives.

I have a spare set of the MT Flexicoil trucks, I guess I'll see how they fit on the LL switchers. I'll also try to modify them to fit the Atlas trucks.

YES! It IS...   
It helps to "Set" that part of the layout's location, in Wisconsin. And...
Also "Sets" the Time of Year... Fall 
Which is when the Berries are usually harvested...
