Modification of the running mech of D51 (2-8-2) is easier than those of the Big Boy.
This time worm gears must be strictly sat in the frame of the running mech, and D51 mech is suitable for the working.

Ok, so Mr. Ohnishi  prefers the motor and worms in a solid frame rather than separate motors and worms driving each engine. Thank you for the info 0303fxm.

Yes, Brett used to be on Shapeways, and thank goodness his prints now are far superior to the Shapeways ones!
