Overland SD80Macs.. (it will NEVER be made in plastic!...)

Should have bought a Conrail SD40-2 instead. 

Oddly enough, I don't think it has been made in brass either.

Only brass SD40-2's made are by Key (Endo) with swing pilots and Hallmark (Kumata), neither of which appears to be that good of a match for Conrail SD40-2's. If you ever want to offload those Overland 80's, though; I know a brass addict collector who would be interested.

Then there was the day I went to get gas on my way to work and my card was rejected. I find out a bit later that a whole bunch of reserved items were charged to my card and shipped. $1700.00 if I remember correctly. All of the Fox Valley Hiawatha stuff came at once. The landlord was not impressed that I wasn't paying rent that month.

The decal I ruined is the Speedrail on the letterboard. I thought about leaving them off as they were painted out after a fatal wreck on labor day 1950. I want to show the railway in happier times.

I'd have to really mangle the car in order to scrape up the letterboard.
