Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
When I started researching the FEC I discovered the booster train. Of course like everyone I "HAD TO HAVE IT"! I also started with the N scale kits flat and worked from there. Decals were home made, a lot of trial & error! Mainly discovering that cheap is not the best route. Notice the patch outs on the rail box cars. Testors decal system with the shrunken black over the white background!! Ugh! It was to late to do anything about it!.
I have really learned a lot from this forum and will keep on contributing. Thanks!

The layout looks incomplete, it missing lots of FEC red Ortner hoppers to be true FEC. ;D

Welcome to the "institution" and I know you'll enjoy the inmates friendly banter. Don't see a lot of FEC modeled (at least up here in Ontario that is) so I'm looking forward to following your progress.

And here I thought I could keep my work and this hobby forum separate.

This was taken at the store that did the NSC 6-pack of hoppers. I renumber 24 of them for a total of 33 hoppers.

Awesome sundowner! What loads are you using? I have a couple of the Ready to Roll 6 packs also. As soon as I get my aggregate facility planned I intend on getting a few more. Those wouldnt be yours opn the 'bay right now would they?

Yep, those are mine. I can sell a few since FEC is not my primary road that I model. I won a bunch of NSN decal set so I figure I could sell some.

I used Hay Brothers Garage limestone loads.

I haven't been back to "Ready to Roll" in about 6 years now, but I recognize that hopper car demo layout anywhere!

Ya I think the FEC is awesome! I was hoping to hear from forum members that actually live in Florida to comment on the blue bridge and give me some feedback on it. There dosent seem to be a lot of pictures of it on the web.
