Getting  
just a little excited.  Tomix makes super-mini track down to 103mm radius curves (around 4inches) along with 'Wide Tram' street trackage in the same size.  Looks like a trolley/tram of some sort will be joining the heavy mainline action under the holiday tree in 2011.  Let the research begin, those Kato 'Pocket Line' trams look pretty cool too...

True, but most of these have mega-deep pizza cutters. The flanges on the B'mann trolley look halfway decent.

They do have pizza cutters, but there are now a multitude of ways to fix that.  I'll probably get a couple of the Witt cars to cannibalize for New Orleans Streetcars.

      I recieved my two from FRT a Brooklyn & Queens and a Los Angeles. All I can say is "Wozzers !" The micro fine printing on the heralds is readable. The Brooklyn car brings back memories of sorts. Our first family trip to New York in 1954,we went there by train,to visit my fathers parents in Brooklyn let my dad take me to see (we did not ride) the last operating Steet Car line in Brooklyn usuing First Gen PCC cars in the same green scheme as the Bachmann model. When we came back in 1956 for another visit sadly the street cars were all gone. Any one want to model Milan,Italy. Their Witt style cars painted bright orange with black or brown roofs still run,also some sold off like the two in San Francisco on Market Street.          Nate Goodman (Nato).

Ok, using the measured dimensions and scaled photos, this thing looks a little long for #s 1 & 2, but 3 & 4 would work, especially since they were boxcabs.  It would also work as a decent starting point to do the trollies that ran between Norfolk and Virgina Beach.  I've got room enough for doing the Electric Division as well, maybe do it on a door?  Maybe do the Pennsy interchange and possibly car float ops on a second door a la Vollmer (L-shaped).
