Just a little work on my "Kingsbury Branch" aka the Pemigewassett Industrial Track

I was waiting for a shipment of switches to come in, so I started laying out streets and did some base scenery for where the warehouse tracks for Lechmere used to be. I changed Bill's Montgomery Ward warehouse to Lechmere which was a retail company based in New England....and eventually became part of Montgomery Ward!

The photos are of the start of the branch @ Hobbie St.  Local WAMD-10 drops some cars for New England Southern.

Great trackside scenery. It's the sort of vacant lot I always seem to pull into before starting to hike along the tracks. All that's missing is a bit of standing water.

Wendell, looking good, what material is that helix out of? Is it just painted wood or are you using something else?

I changed a few defective couplers and wheels on Rapido cars (parts suppled by Rapido at no cost, of course). Makes me realize just how much I need a dedicated work area (like a workshop beside the layout room)... f*&kin tiny little springs! I just keep saving for the house and when the time comes, there'll be a million things to do before I get to the basement, but when I do...

jsoflo, your aiding the steriotype that Canadians walk to the beach in snoeshoes with your winter module. Actually, that is a pretty convincing scene... warmed my heart 'cause I love winter railfanning!

Phil its a Ashlin design kit the subroadbed is made out of particle board so I painted it to seal it   Jon the house is always open ;D ;D just the layout isn't that far along

Russ, its 2 parts Silfor 4mm Fall, 1 part Silfor 4mm Late Summer, and 1 part Woodland Scenics 2mm Burnt Grass. Applied with the Noch Grasmaster.Thanks
