I painted them white, and then used clear decals paper with black printing.

What scale are you printing the numbers? Are you using Inkjet, Laser or Alps? Last Question... do you know of a good reseller for Alps stuff other than Ebay?

There would have been a time when I would have paid any price for one of those engines.

I do not think I have ever seen an Ex-CR CNW SD45 in n-scale, much less one so wonderfully executed.

I always had trouble figuring which color to use on the patch under the cab windows. Plus my masking skills sucked back then too.

I'm liking the way the fading and the road grime was done.  Got to tell you, my copy of your book is starting to look like it's been riding the rails...need to get another and cover it with plastic.  Thanks for the hard work on that loco...

But in the meantime, I weathered about 75 locos in 4 scales! ;D
