These look awesome.

The top photos of the CSX version have no conspicuity stripe, but down below they do. I wish they offered a "stripe-free" version.

I'll definitely be adding a few to the fleet!
Especially since I don't need to wait until the second quarter of 2026. Behavior like this should be rewarded.  :D

Peter, it does.  It's just higher on the car.   I would have preferred no conspicuity stripes too, though I'll likely get some anyway.

Yipes - stripes !

I was able to remove the conspicuosity strips from a Trainworx gon without too much effort.

Finally! This is a model I’ve been waiting for. Those Mopacs will have a good home.

Seems like there should be more road names in a first run, but I'm not familiar with what other railroads ran these cars, but surely some of the fallen flag cars survived to be painted in merged roads like NS or UP?

Very nice car and incredibly tempting...

I'm not sure how I can justify it in the Upper Midwest tho 🤔

Probably in scrap service. A number of chipracks have wound up in that service, though I couldn't specifically find any examples of this particular car.

I cannot justify getting any of these as well, right era but they didn't make it up to Ontario in the 80's. Still, very cool car and a needed model for sure.

Didn't even realize that NS was around long enough to order any of these cars. They are cool looking. I've seen em locally used in hauling used tires.

Im happy for you guys down there in the SE but not a car PNW railroads were investing in
I saw the subject on Pats email and my heart jumped but alas not the Gunderson 7466 that I was unsuccessful in getting Exact Rail to shrink to 160
Soooo How about it there Scale Trains!?!
