Has anyone encounter problems when using Floquil paint on Kato locomotive shells ... crazing, etc. or is it safe to spray away ?

i have used floquil on many kato shells, never had a problem. kato shells can pretty much take what you paint them with. go ahead and spray away!!!

New Floquil paint (black label) is safe on pretty much anything.  The old formula Floquil paints with the red labels were not necessarily plastic-compatible and may attack your Kato shells.  If you have the older paints and want to use them anyway, lay down a good coat of primer on your shell before painting and this should protect it.
