When the Citroën CX was introduced in 1974, it caused a real sensation and was subsequently named European Car of the Year 1975. Alongside the Berline, Citroën also offered the exceptionally spacious CX Safari, which combined comfort and practicality in a unique way. Thanks to its hydropneumatic suspension, the CX delivers outstanding ride comfort while also being capable of carrying heavy loads without sagging.
The model shown is the original version with chrome bumpers. This distinctive model remained in production until 1985.
