Rapido Announcing the LRC Locomotive in N

The Amtrak LRC is cool, but don’t let that distract from that in their recent livestream they actually said they’d consider doing the C30-7 in N Scale and not flat out saying no.

They mentioned something like they needed to sell 1,200-1,300 sets for the project to go ahead. I assume they meant engines

Ah, so my money is safe. I feel low risk pre-ordering the set as well as the three single locomotives 

I'm not a passenger guy but thanks to Rapido I have a much larger fleet than I otherwise would have. And I do hope the LRC locomotive actually gets produced; I grew up with them rode one of the original configuration L10L trains to Montreal in 1984 and back... almost as memorable as my RDC ride to Brockville in 1988.

I've had my Kato kitbash of a Amtrak Cabbage done for over 10 years.  Everytime someone says Rapido, I flinch.  I know they'll do it one of these days.
