Question - are there any differences between the versions of the Walthers 130 foot turntable? I have seen some older versions on Ebay, maybe those are more reliable? I have only tried the most recent version, and have not been super impressed with reliability.
The Fleischmann turntable looks interesting. It seems to have the reliability of the Kato, but is longer and looks more prototypical. Not as long as the Walthers, but looks interesting.
Anyone know of custom turntable kits in N scale? CMR discontinued their N scale turntable, and Diamond Scale has not responded to any emails and may be out of business.
I meant to call Diamond today, but ended up kinda busy today. Will try next week.
Is the phone number on their website correct? I tried calling last week and the voicemail was for a catering business.

The...... turntable I designed has been a very popular download on thingiverse and cults, hundreds of downloads. It takes a 3D printer of course but you don't need to own one. There are a number of print services out there and your library, a school or a friend might also be an option depending on where you live. More info and print file links here....https://1fatgmc.com/RailRoad/Turntable/Turntable-Index.htmlI designed a controller for the stepper motor but there are other options. One option that is gaining a lot of popularity is DCC-EX's EX Turntable control....https://dcc-ex.com/ex-turntable/index.html#gsc.tab=0... You need to have a DCC-EX command station but it could only be controlling the turntable if you wanted and you can build one (DCC-EX Command Station) in less than an hour for less than $50 if you shop for parts and some are putting them together for less than $25 with a bit more work.Sumner
Some cool news - NYSR is releasing an HO scale turntable this summer.
