Diamonds can drive you crazy. I made one, color printed, it was like making diamonds from coal, with 16 manual color swaps: A streamstyled Lehigh Valley 900 series car in the striking Otto Kuhler Black Diamond prewar livery. Now, just don't ask how about motive power for this. Doing the car was already a crazy idea
InterurbanModels,Add me to those who are amazed by your ability to do color printing at this level. I am just beginning with 3D printing (got a low end printer for Christmas), and looking forward to being able to print simple things- like interiors and freight car loads. It will be years (if I have enough left) before I am printing passenger cars, much less in color with striping.I know you are doing some of this work commercially, but can you tell us what model of printer you are using to create these models? (if it's not a 'trade secret.')
