I believe the best you can hope for is Canadian paint. Atlas isn't exactly big on prototype fidelity, and if CP 4200 is any indication, hoping Rapido will do an N scale C424 is the more likely, yet very remote, chance for an accurate MLW C424. While 4200 was built (as 8300) with the overhanging radiator and cab-mounted headlights, both were modified sometime before it wore the scheme Atlas is doing to match the rest of the fleet (photos indicate it was done by 1970).
I was wondering that too. Or is this all new tooling?
Do these share any of the tooling from the LL units?
I'm just hoping the handrails on the production units won't look like tube balloons clowns use at kids parties.The S.
