What did Santa bring me? Springtime weather. I get to go outside in shorts and shovel fog.

According to USPS, my gift to myself is here in town and will be delivered in tomorrow's mail - two boxcars from the final official MTL run. 'Tis a sad day in Mudville.

Santa brought me the latest episode of Train Talk Media.  ;)  Listened to your episode with Volker: very nice!  Merry Christmas.

Nothing railroad-related, because my family knows better. 😉

200 ea. M1.2X4mm Philips "wafer" machine screws to start up my N-Possible conversions. Santa found 'em in China for just under $8.00USD including shipping, tariff & fees.  Can't wait to get my workbench set up before the New Year.

Santa was good to me, and finally got around to putting a Hakko FX888DX-010BY Digital Soldering Station (with extra tips) in my stocking.  Looking forward to finally getting all of those Soundtraxx Tsunami steam decoders installed in my FEF's, Light Mikes and Consolidations.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of my TRW compatriots and may this coming New Year be Healthful, Fulfilling, Safe and Profitable!

This.

I do always get a generous gift card from the in-laws that usually gets applied to Amazon and I'll use it for mrr-related items at times....tools, supplies, etc.  And otherwise, I'm grateful for everything I have this holiday and that I am able to enjoy this hobby, *mostly* without too many budget constraints.

Now that I have them, being these are from the "farewell run", do I dare let out the factory air?

My wife found this set at a local train show earlier this year. I have several of the ones with C&O sub-lettering, but the B&O ones slipped by me!
