Hey Everybody!
We are in the final programming and scheduling for the Milwaukee convention, and we need a few folks to wrap up the program.
We are planning to have an Online Modelers Meet up in meat space again this year. Snacks and a functional projector will be provided. What we need is a selection of videos to share amongst the folks in attendance. The other thing we need is a host! Otherwise, I end up with that task, and no one wants that! This is always on Wednesday between the registration and the Welcome Reception.
We are also still seeking clinicians to share knowledge with the attendees on a variety of subjects. We are particularly interested in things that are new-ish to the hobby like 3D printing, Meshly, CAD, and how to get involved as well as any Prototype, Scenery, or modeling subjects that people should know about. We also hhave had some wonderful clinics in the past about how to get people involved with the hobby, how to put a show together, and how to keep a club running. It is easy to sit back and just let someone else do it, but you have knowledge that others would find useful, and it is cool to share. (Besides, these volunteers all qualify for the Author car!)
