Thanks! That was my second college car. I loved it.

There are times I think about trying to find one now and doing some modernization to it (basically an LS swap, Bluetooth and keyless entry) for a railfan mobile.

I don't now how it is with you, but over here good ones are getting pricy.

I love TRW thread drift.

My dad still drives his 1967 Amazon 122S. Our family has been calling that car my older brother most of my life. His name is Norman.

I coveted me a 740 station wagon back in the day. They were popular with the Ferrari guys I hung with.

Right? The turbo ones were real sleepers.

Kinda like the modern XC60. It's got 450hp in the base model, and there's a Polestar version. I'm keeping my eye on them in case something happens to my Buick.

I bet they are. *****, mine didn't depreciate while I had it. The people who bought it after me paid exactly the same we did a few years earlier.

Dang, free use of a car for a few years less only whatever maintenance and gas set you back.  Nice!

I bought the big ram charger I drove in high school for $600, drove it around for three years, blew out the transmission off roading, and sold it to someone who wanted the v8 for his race car project for $600.

Best friend from high school's hobby was sleeper volvos.  Unfortunately, that hobby came to an end when a hurricane a few years ago put his collection under fifteen feet of storm surge (salt water) despite his being ten miles inland.

I'll bring up the rear of this week's extravaganza with this pic from 2015.  Located in Oakland, Maryland at the old B&O depot, now a town museum.

And before you ask, the snow was actually there.
Merry Christmas, everyone!

Yeah. I'm all but certain those started with the Ferrari guys ~40 years ago. "Borrowing" from the rampante cavallino logo.
