Disassembling FVM B&O wagontop caboose

Group;
I have some Fox Valley Models gorgeous B&O wagontop cabooses that need to be disassembled in order to add some needed weight. As they are out of production, I am reluctant to break anything. Has anyone had any experience getting these apart, specifically to get the floor off so I can add weight?

Kind regards,
Bill

I don't recall them being too light.  Are you trying to do pusher operations where weight matters?

Hi;
I find them too light, and also feel that the weight helps with detection i.e. the resistor wheelsets being recognized. I weight all my running stock to a minimum of NMRA recommendations and in summary the weight helps detection.

Kind regards,
Bill
