The mid-year new products "catalog" is out: https://resources.bachmanntrains.com/2025MidYear

Looks like only N scale is lighted Amfleets (Page 7).

I don’t even want to know what the MSRP will be for these.  Guessing it will be north of $100 each?

I guess they need to charge that much to pay for the massive amounts of plastic they use for the enormous EZ Mate couplers…. right, @turbowhiz:D

I get the 3 truck Lima and the Siemens S70s would get some traction in N scale.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Scale Trains doing steam kinda surprises me. Hope its a success and then do some in N. Although I don't need that particular 2-8-4.

I think it comes from the MTH tooling so I doubt they will port it to N scale..

Plus Atlas is doing it in N with Walthers/Life Like tooling.

I think there will be a bunch of oddball stuff that will be released (eventually) from the MTH Portfolio.
Along with the J and the Berk... (skims though old MTH catalogs.. ) Get ready for..
The Allegany
The Yellowstone
The AC6 and AC9?
GS4
ESE & Dreyfus Hudsons
Of course another Big Boy and Challenger..
And drumroll..
The Triplex..

I think they will do well with everything in that lineup because Youtube is doing a great job is reintroducing steam to the next generation with entertaining videos and live stream.... Eg.. (Hyce, Trains of Thought, Darkness the Curse, ect.)..

Typing this as I'm watching Hyce tier list the DRG narrow gauge steam roster and every other word is swear words..

It turns out you can get black confetti in the shape of d'cks...

As Scale Trains recently reissued the ex-Fox Valley HO-Scale Norfolk and Western J Class 4-8-4 locomotives and passenger cars, if they have the tooling, and its complete and usable, another run of ex-Fox Valley 1935 Hiawatha 4-4-2 locomotives and passenger cars could be released.

I think the "Fox Valley" N&W J is ex-MTH as well?

It is.. just Fox Valley is the new sub brand..

I didn't consider the Fox Valley 4-4-2 in HO and N..

I'm sure it'll be "unable to be used" or whatever excuse ST came up with for the FVM Gevo and SD70ACe tooling.

I'd be down for a set of 6 of those S70s in MTS... Would be even more enthusiastic if it were the U2s though.

These houses were staples in n scale for years. I believe they were even featured on the cover of an early issue of N Scale Magazine. I'm very surprised you aren't aware of them.

And as you can see in the picture, the IHC side windows didn't line up with the fronts -- by feet!! So I doubt the Walthers are IHC re-runs.

Yeah, I wish that more 3D designers would design their models split into separate parts for painting. Trying to paint tiny details in recessed areas (like porches with columns) is pretty much impossible in N scale.

I try to do that as much as possible on my designs, especially the add on parts .. Not always,  but windows and doors sometimes are better molded right into the walls because of printer accuracy.

Well, windows and doors are not the worst thing . After all we had to deal with this in all the DPM buildings.  But as I mentioned if a building has a wrap-around porch with railings and columns, trying to paint the wall  and windows in that wall inside the porch gets really tricky.

So they are new molds of over-done kits? That doesn’t raise my interest. Thankfully the 3D printing market has given us the greatest variety of dwellings N scale has ever seen.

I suspect that the Walthers photo is actually their HO kit...

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.
