JnJ Trains SD45B shell

Does anyone know what mechanism the JnJ Trains SD45B shell was designed for? I seem to have forgotten and my googlefoo has not provided me with the answer yet. I was assuming it would fit the Kato N Scale SD45 mechanism and now there's Atlas in the mix.

We could easily tell from a photo.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was designed for the Con-Cor units from way back.

Agreed. This resin shell has been around a long time.
