Tamiya bottle airbrush adaptor thingie

My airbrush takes this type of bottle:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/383674753836

The lid will just barely screw onto a Tamiya bottle. "Just" means it spills...   :scared:

How do I get either a screw on lid with a syphon tube that fits a Tamiya bottle. Or a DIY syphon tube that I can drill out and old lid to make my own.

I never seen an adapter  for those bottles.
You shoot those syrupy paints unthinned through the airbrush?

I thin them with their own thinner. There is a hardware store close that sells them and I really like how they spray.

There's one Ace Hardware store in Tucson (E 22nd St.) that has a hobby section (and many more Ace stores that do not), and does indeed sell Tamiya paint.  Alas, their model RR selection is modest, and their N-scale selection is pitiful, but for general modeling supplies they are pretty good.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Kinda sad those types of Hardware stores are disappearing. I remember back in the day my Father would get lionel accessories from the hardware store downtown but they cleared that out after Hurricane Sandy. And one of the last that still did I didn't process was more train store than hardware until I wandered in a week before closure bcs I had to pick up toggle bolts.

I remember going to Church Hardware when I lived in Memphis.  One quarter of the store was a hobby shop the rest a traditional hardware store.  Great place to visit.

Completely forgot across the street is a Karate place. I used to be a hobby/camera shop where I bought a bunch of remote control cars as a kid.

the really good hardware store in seattle closed after a developer offered the owner a crapton of money for the land.  the thing that bothers me about it, though, is instead of being honest about that, the owner blamed ... local politics (and i'll leave it at that).  his bald-faced lying about it kinda soured how i'd felt about the place.
