I like the way the new Amtrak scheme adds some color to dreary shots like this.

It was a Saturday, so these Geeps of the mostly-Monday-through-Friday East Penn Railroad fleet were tied down in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, this afternoon:



No. 2800 has always been one of my favorites, so it was good to see it again, despite it trying to hide amongst the dumpsters.

Found this when I loaded old photos to my new laptop. September of '05 at Walong.
Of all the pictures I took at the Loop over the years, this is my best catch. There are 8 -8s, the first one is straight on.
