Tamiya PC Green

Has anyone developed a mix of Tamiya acrylics for PC Green?   I'm experimenting and have something (and with the way paint weathers, it's probably ok) but was just curious.  It'd be nice to have a chart of mixtures for various RR colors done with Tamiya acrylics.  I guess I can start documenting my mixtures and put it on a Google drive...  I have the aforementioned green, a Conrail blue, a Conrail tuscan, a weathered black..

@Jesse6669 ,

You can try this method.  Find the green closest, but a little darker, and add bits of white till you get there.  This is how I got my Polar express blue.

Here's what I came up with for a blend of Tamiya acrylics for PC green.  One is in bright natural sun, the other in "daylight" artificial LED light, all with iPhone 16 camera.

At least to my eye it's pretty close and you can tweak the mixture as needed (see comments).
  • 4 parts X28 Park Green
  • 2 parts XF71 Cockpit Green
  • 2 parts XF18 Medium Blue
  • 1 part XF8 Flat Blue
  • 4-8 parts XF2 Flat White (vary for desired level of fading)

Full Sun

Artificial light

You can vary the formula of course, for example I thought this mix with one more X28 Park Green and less XF2 Flat white was a good "fresh out of the paint shop" PC green or NYC Perlman green.
