New modular N Scale Ore Docks!

Have you all seen the new ore docks a brand new company came out with?  Modular N Scale ore docks!  From looking over their site, they offer a variety of the different ore docks on the Great Lakes including the DM&IR, GN and LS&I dock with rounded chutes.  Both concrete and steel legs are available.  They have a starter kit and then you can add 8 chute sections.  You can make the ore dock as long as you want!  An entire 6 foot dock can easily be assembled in a weekend!  Finally someone is thinking common sense here and the results are phenomenal.  They also have an N Scale Edna G, ore boats a line of sanding towers and a full line of farm equipment, buildings, etc.  Lots of new things for N Scalers.  Check out their site at:  modelrailroadengineering.com

You might know after I spent three years building two ore docks someone comes out with them.  That's the way it always goes!!

I really like their barns and agricultural line up. I hope they’re considering a Hulett ore unloader for those ships.

That’s Brian, he’s an enthusiastic Missabe modeler who happens to have built the Two Harbors ore docks entirely to scale. I wish he would have led with pics of those.

You mean like these guys?

IDK, I would need a much better pictures to see what's going on there.  They would probably need semi-scale body mounted couplers for correct car spacing, and also, no mention of 5' wheelbase trucks.

Wow, those pics (scaletraxx) are tiny! :o If I was in the market for these I would contact them directly and request decent photos before ordering.

I have build 60 of the ScaleTraxx N scale ore cars. They are a great way to build a fleet without breaking the bank..I use Microtrains trucks and scale couplers.

Every time I've tried adding photos to this forum it says an error occurred.  Anyone know what I'm doing wrong??  Otherwise I would have posted my ore docks that I have recently completed.  You can go over to TB and see my pics in an ore dock thread I started there.  I have custom painted, and decaled 200 of the ScaleTraxx ore cars.  I have natural ore as well as taconite cars.  The cars are the first accurate Missabe ore cars.  I have 1,200 of the Atlas cars but most will end up getting sold off after this fleet is fully operational.  The ScaleTraxx cars need weight in them as they are light.  They do make a weight that can be added to the bottom of the cars which I did.  I
3D printed loads with a metal weight underneath and covered with various ore.  I do operations on my 24' x 24' two level layout and wanted cars coming from the mines and taconite plants full and then coming back from the docks empty.  I use a 3D printed plunger type device to remove the loads without derailing the cars.  Loads go into a plastic storage bin so they are ready to be added back in up at the mines or taconite plants.  I had resin printed custom made trucks and used MicroTrains wheels.  I did mini quad sets with a custom made brass strip going to each car and then MicroTrains couplers on each end of the 4 car set.  Spacing is accurate and the cars operate nice and smooth on the layout..  Just need to get the rest of my custom brass strips for the final assembly of all the quad sets.

Yes, we know.
Unfortunately the forum's welcome packet (I know, there is no such thing), doesn't direct you to familiarize yourself with some forum's basics.  Here are couple:

https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=42854.0  While slightly more cumbersome, I suggest that you use the Gallery feature instead just uploading them directly to a post.

I found him a while ago on FB before the website existed.
The ore docks are really nice but it is quite some money you need to spend for a dock of a decent length ( ~ $2000 ).
Plus shipping, plus customs... So at the moment no kit is going to Europe for me.

But as I said, the docks look top notch!

There appear to be large-scale images accessible from the second link:  https://scaletraxx.com/product/n-scale-cnw-gn-other-type-extended-top-ore-green-undecorated-10-pack-with-trucks-and-couplers/
