Easy to remove supports for FDM printing for Bambu P1S/X1C

Pulled this off of another forum plus my own experience as of late trying to get supports to work without sticking to the model. Obviously, these settings may require tweaking based on your own environmental factors but they do allow for clean breakaway supports. These assume a AMS (Automatic Material System) unit is active and a textured PEI plate (stock).

Under support tab in the Bambu Studio (slicer app):
Top Z distance = variable; use double your layer height when using PLA Support material. If using PETG for support material then top Z distance is 0 mm
Support type - tree (organic)
Bottom Z distance = 0.2 mm
Base pattern spacing =2.5 mm
Base pattern = Hollow
Top interface layers = 3
Bottom interface layers = 2
Top interface spacing = 0.7 mm
Support base material = Default or use PLA
Support interface material = Support for PLA /PETG (this is important so the support will be the base PLA other than the top/bottom interfaces with the model and will cut down on time spent changing filament types)
When using supports wait for the bed to cool down before trying to remove your prints (use gloves to avoid touching the bed with your fingers)

Other:
For tall/little contact models it is recommended to use a brim ; outer only with a width of 3 mm and a brim-object gap of 0.3 mm
For small /hollow models. a support raft may be helpful - use  2 layers.
Under Quality tab - use a line width approximately 50% of the normal (0.25 mm instead of the 0.42 mm for a 0.4 nozzle)
Under Strength tab - change Infill type to Gyroid or Rectilinear instead of the default Grid (this will avoid the nozzle accidentally hitting the model and knocking it off the plate)

Thank you, Peter! Next step setting-up the X1C is power on and calibration. Plans are to run a couple of pre-loaded demo prints, and then I have a whopper of an STL ready for the slicer. Fingers crossed.

May not happen until late next week, though. NWS is forecasting up to 8" of snow on Sunday, and we are not equipped for that much all at once. Printer is at the studio, not home, and we may be housebound for a few days.
