Messy derailment with the most accurate reporting by FOX11 Los Angeles.
"Five Union Pacific railcars, all of them yellow, two of them kind of leaning on the tracks and three of them just totally derailed kind of crunched into each other...what a mess workers are dealing with"

"Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!"

Channel 11 was pretty much a 3rd-tier station when I lived there. Nice to see that's one thing that hasn't changed in the many intervening years.

As a former print journalist, I've long held that "talking heads" should be forced to read transcripts of their inane utterances at the end of every shift.  :)

I've seen collisions in yard limits, in Pasco, but none of them resulted in a mess like that.  One was a switcher and a boxcar, both ended up leaning, the other was two locomotives, leaving the roundhouse at the same time.  Again, both ended up leaning.  The first was fixed with another switcher, pulling the boxcar out of the way.  The other required the "big hook", to actually lift one unit away from the track so the other could be moved.  Neither did much damage beyond bent railings and scraped paint.

As a construction worker we used to complain that the designers of the building need to build what they design ...LOL

Looks like a ballast tamper jammed back in the corner.
