Norfolk Southern OCS theater car Buena Vista color

I'm trying to match as closely as possible the red/tuscan color on the Norfolk Southern OCS theater car Buena Vista.

Photos show a variety of shades likely based on ambient lighting and the camera being used.

Any suggestions are welcome.

As you mentioned, the color varies depending on many factors (also including natural paint fade).  Does that imply that you're looking for the color match to a freshly painted car?

I mix my own using Tru Color "NW Late Passenger Car Maroon" and add caboose red until it looks good.

I probably should've written down the ratio.

I know people have used Rustoleum "Satin Claret Wine", requires decanting for airbrushing, and Scalecoat II N&W red, requires hopes and prayers that it comes back, with good success.

Yes Pete, a freshly painted car.

Reese, thanks for the suggestions.
