DS74 vs. Kato Turnouts [SOLVED]

Had a friend call and ask how to wire DS74 outputs to control Unitrack turnouts with their single-coil polarity reversal scheme. The DS64 could do this (and is in the instructions), but there is nothing about the DS74 that implies it understands the Kato single-coil method; it handles two-coil solenoids and stall-type switch motors.

Does anybody know one way or another if a DS74 can be used with Kato turnouts, and, if so, how?

Turns out (ha!) it works by default. Just hookup the two wires to the G/R terminals corresponding to the turnout number you want to control. I advised that my friend should be double-checking his addressing.
