Octopus. And those MF'ers are geniuses.
Yep. On PBS just a couple of nights ago, a repeat feature with an article about a teen with a large aquarium at home, raising an octopus and establishing a pet-like relationship with it. Fascinating and endearing.
I guess we are now officially into thread drift
I always feel bad when I have octopus, but they are sooooo dammmmm gooooood.
I know. Damn I miss grilled octopus.
You no longer eat it? We are on the top of the food chain - you should just enjoy yourself until octopuses (or is it octopii?) figure out a way to wage war on humans. Your theme-appropriate avatar also gave me a chuckle.
When I was teaching my daughter how Natural Selection works when she was in middle school.... I used squirrels as an example.I said, think about it. Dumb squirrels get run over. Or eaten by owls.Thus.... only smart squirrels survive... and they breed. And every generation, they get smarter and smarter. One day the world will be ruled by super-squirrels... who are biding their time before they take over. She's never forgiven me for teaching her that.Maybe we should eat more squirrels.
Don't let her watch this bit of a Rick & Morty episode: />
